Collection: Herbal Teas/Tisane

A little history-

Herbal tea, also known as a tisane or herbal infusion, is a beverage made by steeping dried herbs, flowers, fruits, spices, or roots in hot water. Unlike true teas, herbal teas are naturally caffeine-free and offer a wide range of flavors and potential health benefits, such as aiding digestion, promoting relaxation, and supporting the immune system.

Fun fact:

There is a difference between tea and tisane? The primary difference is that true teas are derived from the Camellia sinensis plant and contain caffeine, while a tisane (often called an herbal tea) is a caffeine-free beverage made from the infusion of other plants, such as fruits, flowers, herbs, spices, or roots

Therefore, while all true teas are technically tisanes in the sense that they are infusions, not all tisanes are true teas.
