Lessons from a Garden

Lessons from a Garden

In the midst of insurmountable  loss and personal heartache, After my Papa passed, I took on the care of the property. As I spent time in the yard, I noticed new plants emerging, and my curiosity was piqued. With so many books on herbalism in the house, it felt natural to explore this connection, even though herbalism was not a theme I grew up with, I found it curious. I soon discovered that the land itself was a source of healing, home to a variety of powerful plants like Polk Root, Common Mallow, Milk Thistle and Dandelion. This discovery came just as I was facing my own health challenges with rheumatism and a skin condition. Inspired by the earth's gifts, I began creating natural remedies for myself. This personal journey blossomed into a small business dedicated to sharing the gentle, life-affirming power of these plants with others. While the journey of building a business has its challenges, I've found a deep sense of purpose in this work. These plants have been wonderful teachers, and this beautiful garden has brought me profound new insights.
